Modern Slavery Statement
Macintosh Creative is a sole trader business with no employees. We're publishing this statement voluntarily — not because the law requires it (the Modern Slavery Act 2015 only requires a formal statement from organisations with a turnover of £36 million or more, which is nowhere near the scale of this business), but because it's a genuine commitment, not just a legal box to tick.
This is effective from 10 August 2026 and will be reviewed periodically as the business grows.
Our Position
Modern slavery — forced labour, servitude, and human trafficking — is a serious crime and a fundamental abuse of human rights. We have a zero-tolerance approach to it, and we expect the same from anyone we work with.
Where Our Exposure Actually Is
As a one-person business, our real exposure to this risk isn't through staff or a manufacturing supply chain — we have neither. It's through the tools and services we rely on to run the business: website hosting (Wix), email and productivity tools (Google Workspace), analytics and monitoring tools (Google, Microsoft), and general business suppliers such as equipment retailers. We choose established, reputable providers, and expect them to meet the same standard.
What We Do About It

We only work with suppliers and contractors we'd be comfortable naming publicly.

If we ever engage a subcontractor or freelancer to help deliver a project, we expect — and would confirm — that they meet the same standard.

We keep this statement under review as the business grows, rather than leaving it unread once published.
