Based in High Wych, just outside Sawbridgeworth, Macintosh Creative covers local trades and small businesses across East Hertfordshire and West Essex.
Where I Cover
I'm based right here, not commuting in from somewhere else. A small market town on the River Stort, on the Hertfordshire–Essex border — the old High Street still has its timber-framed buildings and I'm a couple of minutes from Sawbridgeworth Mill down by the river. Home turf.
A few miles up the road from me — the larger market town on the West Anglia line, close to Stansted Airport, with a proper mix of independent shops and trades. Close enough that it's covered as easily as home turf.
One of England's post-war new towns, with a genuinely large employment base. The Enterprise Zone and the industrial estates around it are full of exactly the kind of trades and small businesses I build for.
Part of the Lee Valley, in the Borough of Broxbourne — close to Paradise Wildlife Park and the Lee Valley White Water Centre, with good rail links into London. I cover it as part of the same Broxbourne borough group as Hoddesdon and Broxbourne itself.
A market town in the Lee Valley, near Rye House. Like Cheshunt, it's got a solid base of independent and trade businesses and I cover it as part of the same Lee Valley group.
A historic malting town on the River Lea — Ware Priory and Scott's Grotto are the two things everyone mentions — with a good number of long-established local trades. Part of my East Hertfordshire coverage alongside Hertford.
Sits inside the Lee Valley Regional Park, with its own mainline station on the West Anglia line. I cover it alongside Cheshunt and Hoddesdon as one group.
A bit further out than the core towns, at the crossroads of the old Icknield Way and Ermine Street on the Hertfordshire–Cambridgeshire border — Royston Cave is the local landmark. Further from base doesn't mean an afterthought.
The county town — sits where the Rivers Beane, Lea, Mimram and Rib meet, with Hertford Castle and Hertfordshire's County Hall both here. A proper concentration of local trades, covered alongside Ware and Hoddesdon.
Named after the Eleanor Cross, on the A10 in the Broxbourne borough, close to Theobalds Park. Covered alongside Cheshunt and Hoddesdon as part of the same group.
A historic wool town over in Uttlesford, Essex — known for its turf maze and being just down the road from Audley End House. Part of my West Essex coverage alongside Great Dunmow.
The furthest point I cover, out towards Cambridge — a South Cambridgeshire village with a long industrial history tied to its old paper mill. Confirmed as part of the service area, not a stretch.
A market town in Essex's Uttlesford district, with the Flitch Way footpath running along an old railway line nearby. Covered as part of the wider Uttlesford group with Saffron Walden, Takeley and Stansted Mountfitchet.
Close to Stansted Airport, in Uttlesford — a mix of village life and light industrial and commercial activity. Covered alongside Great Dunmow and Stansted Mountfitchet.
Home to Stansted Airport and Mountfitchet Castle, in Uttlesford, Essex. A short run from my base via Bishop's Stortford, not a stretch to reach.
How does coverage work if you're between areas?
Photography sessions within 20 miles of High Wych, just outside Sawbridgeworth are included at no extra charge — beyond that, mileage and a reduced travel rate apply, agreed upfront. If a location isn't listed, get in touch — most of Hertfordshire and West Essex is workable.
